Stephen Ray Vaughan (Octo August 27, 1990) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the guitarist and frontman of the blues rock trio Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Stevie Ray Vaughan died at just 35-years-old. By the time he was 15, he was in a group, The Chessmen. Hart is a second generation photographer and has owned The Heights Gallery in Houston since 1984 with her late father, famous photographer Leonard M. Everyone on board Vaughan’s helicopter died instantly, mostly from blunt-force trauma, according to the autopsy report. Her prints have been exhibited the Hard Rock Casinos in Las Vegas and Vancouver BC, the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles and the Bullock Texas State History Museum as part of the GRAMMY Museum and Jimmie Vaughan curated “Pride and Joy: The Texas Blues of Stevie Ray Vaughan” and in the permanent collection of the Bullock. Sony Music has used her work on billboards and in print ads as well as several CDs and DVDs and the Stevie Ray Vaughan images have appeared on PBS, VH-1, on DVDs and many books, magazines, and charity auctions along with shots of the many other musicians she has photographed since 1979. The prints have been shown in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon and sold to companies and private collectors from Texas to Australia. Tracy Anne Hart Tracy Anne Hart is perhaps best known for her widely published, exhibited and auctioned images of Texas Music legend Stevie Ray Vaughan who she had the privilege to photograph between 1983 and his untimely death in 1990.
